I’ve designed the promotional materials for Denison’s Doc Holliday Saints & Sinners Festival since the 1st year. These have made use of vintage engravings, period typography, and lots of campy, fun graphics. It’s easily one of my favorite design projects every year. The logo started out in 2016 showing playing cards since Doc was focusing on his faro card game during his time in Denison. In 2017 we switched to a gun because of his reputation as a fighter. But the next year we decided to combine the two and just change out the colors and featured background every year.
